A magical day begins when Grandma Florence runs into Flo's Diner to tell her about an incredible discovery: she's found a magic lamp at the flea market! Although Flo is skeptical and tells her grandma that magic isn't real, things take an unexpected turn when Florence slips on the wet floor and falls onto the table where Bernie, the bookworm, is drinking from the magic lamp. Suddenly, the three find themselves transported to a world full of adventures straight from a book Bernie was reading.
On their first stop, they find themselves in the world of Ali Baba. Grandma Florence, now a genie, tells them they need to buy a mirror to get back home, but it's too expensive. Flo, confident in her abilities, decides they'll do what they do best: work in the kitchen to earn the necessary money. With dishes like falafel and lamb kebabs, they achieve their goal. However, upon passing through the looking glass, they arrive at an unexpected place: Wonderland.
There, Mad Hatter Florence invites them to join her tea party. They discover they'll need a magic bean to return home, but the Evil Queen traps them and presents them with a dilemma: execution or buying the bean at an exorbitant price. Flo decides to help with the tea party, serving treats like croissants and royal card cakes. They eventually obtain the bean, but an accident lands them high up in a bean plant in the giants' world.
At Giant Florence's house, they are greeted with cookies and coffee. They need a magic wand to return to Dinertown, but the cost is prohibitive. Taking advantage of the unexpected visitor traffic in the clouds, they open a restaurant and serve treats like magic beans and giant strawberries. Upon gathering the money, a wave of a wand takes them, not to Dinertown, but outside a fairytale castle.
They then find themselves in a Cinderella-esque world, where Fairy Godmother Florence tells them about a very expensive magic bubble that could help them. Working at the ball, serving king salmon and creme brulee, they get the bubble. However, a tornado takes them to Kansas, where they meet the Scarecrow, Leon, and Fairy Florence from Oz.
To see the powerful Wizard Cookie and return home, they need to buy him new pants. They work at a Munchkin party, preparing specialties like poppy seed soup and yellow brick cake. With the pants in hand, the Wizard reveals that the magic lamp has been the key all along. After making a wish, Flo and Bernie return safely to the Diner, amazed by the magical experience they just had.
